In collaboration with the Herpetology lab under
Dr. Michael Dorcas, our research explores the role the recent
discovered pathogenic fungus, Bd, plays in the Piedmont Region
of North Carolina. We hope to bring more awareness to the
possible threat of Chytrid, as well as, develope a sound
and cost effective way to detect and analyze its presence
in amphibian populations.
